University of Toronto serves as the Secretariat for AHC The incumbent will have a dotted line of accountability to a sub-committee of the AHC’s Executive Steering Committee (ESC). This role will be part of the Secretariat team led by staff in the Office of the Vice President International (OVPI) at the University of Toronto (U of T), with other members of the Secretariat located in Accra, in Cape Town and in Nairobi. This role will work closely with Secretariat staff, members of the Collaborative at the eight other universities, including program leaders, and with other health ecosystem stakeholders. The incumbent will work closely with a multi-stakeholder working group and governance committees representing all 10 AHC partner institutions. The Director will be part of the AHC Secretariat’s senior leadership team. The individual will be the primary point of contact for an aggregator firm (vendors currently being procured), overseeing their work and ensuring ongoing alignment and timely project deliverables.
