Job Description

Technical Requirements

  • Develop and implement short to long-term strategies aimed at increasing revenue and guest satisfaction.
  • Promote local tourism by arranging tours, transportation, and fostering third-party partnerships.
  • Design and execute marketing initiatives to enhance the visibility and appeal of the lodge.
  • Oversee and evaluate operational performance on a regular basis.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and local regulations.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget, including setting room rates and upgrade allocations.
  • Supervise accounting, procurement, and the maintenance of accurate financial records.
  • Provide inspirational leadership to ensure a motivated, high-performing team.
  • Consistently evaluate and improve customer satisfaction.

Education & Qualification

  • A Degree or Higher Diploma in Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications or training in hospitality management or business development are an asset.
  • Proven experience in leadership and general management.
  • Demonstrated ability in customer service and sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage pressure effectively.
