Job Description
Technical Requirements
- Develop and implement short to long-term strategies aimed at increasing revenue and guest satisfaction.
- Promote local tourism by arranging tours, transportation, and fostering third-party partnerships.
- Design and execute marketing initiatives to enhance the visibility and appeal of the lodge.
- Oversee and evaluate operational performance on a regular basis.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and local regulations.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, including setting room rates and upgrade allocations.
- Supervise accounting, procurement, and the maintenance of accurate financial records.
- Provide inspirational leadership to ensure a motivated, high-performing team.
- Consistently evaluate and improve customer satisfaction.
Education & Qualification
- A Degree or Higher Diploma in Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Additional certifications or training in hospitality management or business development are an asset.
- Proven experience in leadership and general management.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service and sales.
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams).
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage pressure effectively.
