Job Description
Technical Requirements
- Manages the growth and success of the team.
- Performs basic HR functions.
- Overall daily management, motivation, and coaching of the team.
- Keeping track of their performance, KPIs and targets.
- Develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational objectives.
- Forecast future demand to ensure a consistent supply of materials.
- Identify and select reliable suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Determine optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand without overstocking.
- Monitor and track inventory in real-time.
- Manage the transportation of goods from raw materials to finished products.
- Select the best transport options and manage shipping schedules.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Identify potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
- Generate appropriate reports on supply chain activities to enable management decisions.
- Monitor the performance of both internal and external customers.
Education & Qualification
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, mathematics or a related field
- Certifications such as CPIM (Certified in Production and inventory management, CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) is an added advantage •
- At least 5 years’ experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics or related field
- At least 3 years’ work experience in a managerial capacity
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in using analytical tools
