Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1.Operations Management:
Oversee the food and beverage operations of the establishment, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
Monitor and maintain the quality of food and service provided to guests.
Ensure proper inventory management, including stock ordering, storage, and rotation.
Manage the setup and breakdown of dining areas, event spaces, and bars.
2.Team Leadership & Staff Management:
Hire, train, and manage a team of waitstaff, bartenders, kitchen staff, and supervisors.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and promote team development.
Create staff schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage during peak times.
Ensure that the team adheres to safety and hygiene standards, as well as company policies.
3.Customer Service & Guest Satisfaction:
Ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing prompt, friendly, and efficient service.
Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, ensuring swift resolution.
Regularly interact with guests to obtain feedback and make improvements.
4.Financial Management:
Prepare and manage the department’s budget, ensuring that food and beverage costs are controlled.
Monitor revenue, expenses, and profit margins, identifying areas for improvement.
Oversee pricing strategies for menu items and promotional offerings.
Manage ordering of food, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cost efficiency.
5.Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all F&B operations comply with local health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and labor laws.
Conduct regular training on health, safety, and sanitation practices.
Oversee the maintenance of kitchen and dining equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
6.Marketing & Promotions:
Work with the marketing team to promote food and beverage offerings through special events, packages, or seasonal promotions.
Assist in the design and distribution of marketing materials, including menus, advertisements, and online presence.
7.Reporting & Analysis:
Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, costs, and guest feedback.
Regularly analyze financial reports and customer satisfaction data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Report to senior management on the department's performance
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Education: A degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field is often preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in food and beverage operations, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Budgeting and financial management expertise.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and inventory control.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Working Conditions:
