Job Description
  • Develop Logical framework and write the MEL sections of project proposals.
  • Create new projects and build a logical framework in the Global MEL system, SPECTRUM.
  • Develop/adapt beneficiary feedback mechanism for company-supported projects and support data collection as needed.
  • Develop and periodically revise company-supported projects’ data collection and reporting tools.
  • Train company-supported projects’ staff and partners’ staff in using data collection, reporting tools and project databases.
  • Provide technical support and build capacity of local partners in monitoring and evaluation of project activities.
  • Ensure the implementation of company-supported projects’ MEL activities adheres to company’ MEL standards, practices and guidance as per the company MEL Handbook.
  • Participate in baseline surveys and special assessment in company-supported projects, as required.
  • Review and compile all training reports conducted through company support.
  • Review and compile monthly, quarterly progress and annual reports of company-supported projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive company projects’ files containing but not limited to project plans and amendments, monthly/quarterly/annual reports, midterm and final evaluation reports, surveys and baseline data, case stories, important communications, and all other MEL records.
  • Regularly update company Ghana projects’ site profile.
  • Liaise with global MEL team to troubleshoot SPECTRUM related issues to company-supported projects in Ghana.
  • Participate in annual planning, periodic review and partnership and meetings as required.
  • Share learning's from projects’ MEL process with partners and company projects’ staff.
  • Travel to different project locations in the Greater Accra and Ashanti regions
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned by her/his supervisor.
