Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures product availability, visibility, and accessibility in priority outlets in the assigned sales territory through the execution of the Territory Sales Plan and Merchandising Guidelines.
  • Trains the external sales force on in-call execution and carries out regular field coaching of the various roles.
  • Identifies the training needs of the external sales force during field coaching and addresses them or informs the Field Operations & Training Coordinator.
  • Completes necessary documentation after field coaching.
  • Communicates monthly activities to the external sales force and guides them to achieve their quantitative and qualitative targets.
  • Monitors priority retail outlets/open markets and provides regular and accurate feedback on competitor activities to Sales Management.
  • Assists distributors in the recruitment of their van sales personnel.
  • Identifies and exploits sales and promotional opportunities for products in the assigned territory.
  • Establishes coverage plans for distributors and develops route and journey plans for the external sales force and ensures compliance.
  • Manages damaged/expired products according to the Goods Returns Policy.
  • Ensures retailers in the assigned territory practice First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO).
  • Oversees the prompt distribution and deployment of Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) and Point-of-Purchase Materials (POPM) to priority retail outlets.
