Job Description

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance of industrial equipment on site.
  • Propose and implement equipment performance improvements.
  • React swiftly and efficiently to hardware failures.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain relationships between suppliers and equipment manufacturers.
  • Optimize industrial equipment performance to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards in equipment management.
  • Guarantee the continuous provision of utilities (water, electricity, steam, compressed air) required for industrial operations.

Key Activities & Tasks

  • Troubleshoot breakdowns and ensure quick resolution.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, prioritizing safety and production constraints.
  • Supervise and evaluate all internal and external maintenance interventions, ensuring cost-effective machine performance.
  • Analyze maintenance data and generate performance reports.
  • Prepare and oversee tender processes for new projects and improvement works.
  • Monitor and manage budget allocations for maintenance activities.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements in maintenance and industrial operations.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance in all maintenance operations.
  • Organize and manage teams, handling administrative duties and training plans.
  • Support HR in recruitment, evaluation, and skill development for maintenance staff.
  • Implement strategies for team motivation and retention.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and annual activity reports.

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in industrial processes and maintenance technologies.
  • Strong ability to develop and implement maintenance procedures.
  • Proficiency in engineering plans interpretation (mechanical, electrical, general construction).
  • Ability to plan and supervise maintenance operations, including time assessment and intervention oversight.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance regulations.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Engineering degree in Electromechanics or a related field.
