Key responsibilities: 

• Ensure accurate preparation of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
• Ensure that all accounting practices adhere to relevant standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and company policies.
• Oversee the timely filing of tax returns (e.g., VAT, income tax, corporate tax) and other statutory requirements.
• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Monitor outstanding accounts, follow up on overdue payments, and manage credit limits to reduce bad debts.
• Develop procedures to ensure the safeguarding of company assets, accuracy of financial reporting, and adherence to internal policies.
• Oversee payroll processing
• Monitor cash flow

Qualifications;

• Chartered Accountant (ICAG).
• 3-5 years of experience in an accounting or financial management role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
