Technical Requirements

• Design and implement a comprehensive ESG strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives.
• Define key ESG priorities and embed them into business processes and decision-making frameworks.
• Monitor and reduce the company’s environmental footprint by addressing waste, energy consumption, emissions, and water management.
• Develop and manage initiatives that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workforce.
• Ensure transparency and accountability at all organizational levels.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as suppliers, customers, and regulators, to achieve ESG goals.
• Create a tailored and robust Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) suited to the company’s needs.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for grants or partnerships to support sustainability initiatives.

Experiences & Qualification

• An advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in a relevant field, such as environmental engineering, environmental or social studies, development studies, development finance, or a related area.
• At least 5 years of experience in ESG management, sustainability, or a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Familiarity with IFC’s Performance Standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability and other relevant E&S or sustainability frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills combined with expertise in project management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using sustainability reporting tools and software.
