TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Receive and process customer payments accurately using cash, POS systems, mobile money, or other payment methods
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers
• Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift
• Greet customers warmly and provide professional customer service
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic complaints politely and efficiently
• Ensure products are correctly scanned and priced
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area
• Support stock arrangement and basic inventory checks when required
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or suspicious activities to management
• Adhere to company policies, financial procedures, and security standards

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of a Diploma / a degree in BSc Administration or equivalent field of study
• Previous experience as a cashier, retail assistant, or in customer service is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Strong numerical and communication skills
• Honest, dependable, and customer-oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and handle transactions accurately
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required
