Job Description

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supplier reliability
* Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best possible deals for the company
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local and foreign suppliers, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products.
* Work closely with other departments, such as finance, operations, and sales, to understand their needs and ensure alignment with procurement activities.
* Leverage procurement software and systems to streamline purchasing processes, manage supplier information, and generate reports.
* Oversee inventory levels to ensure that the company has an adequate supply of products without overstocking or understocking.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management or a related field
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement management or a similar role.
* Proven experience in negotiating contracts, managing suppliers, and optimizing procurement processes.
* Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
