Technical Requirements

Develop and execute growth strategy for the Natural Resources portfolio across oil & gas, energy, mining, and agribusiness sectors

Serve as trusted advisor to senior executives on complex and high-risk insurance programmes.

Lead negotiations with local and international insurers and reinsurers on placements and renewals

Lead and mentor the Natural Resources team; build technical capability and succession planning.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards; deliver portfolio reports to management.

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 8 years' experience in insurance broking, underwriting, or business development with natural resources exposure.
Demonstrated track record in portfolio growth, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
Experience in oil & gas, energy, mining, agribusiness, or related sectors preferred.
Professional insurance qualification (ACII, ACIIG, CII) is an advantage.
