Job Description
Technical Requirements (Duties)
1. Develop and execute the national sales and distribution strategy across all nine regions in Ghana.
2. Translate annual commercial objectives into zonal and individual performance targets and monitor achievement.
3. Supervise and manage all Regional Sales Coordinators nationwide, conducting structured performance reviews and coaching sessions.
4. Oversee nationwide customer acquisition, merchant onboarding, bulk payment partner acquisition, and agent network expansion.
5. Drive agent network optimization, including onboarding, reactivation, geographic coverage, liquidity oversight, and productivity improvement initiatives.
6. Establish structured sales tracking systems, forecast national revenue, monitor pipeline health, and drive data-based decision-making.
7. Collaborate with Operations to ensure seamless onboarding, KYC compliance, liquidity efficiency, and service quality standards.
8. Manage sales budgets, optimize resource deployment, oversee activation spend, and ensure adherence to risk, compliance, and governance standards.
Experience and Qualifications
1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales within Mobile Money, Banking, Telecommunications, or FMCG.
2. At least 3 years’ experience in a senior leadership or national/regional sales management role.
3. Proven experience managing multi-regional or nationwide sales teams.
4. Strong understanding of the mobile money ecosystem, agent networks, and digital financial services.
5. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
6. MBA or professional sales certification is an added advantage.
