 Technical Requirements

* Hands-on troubleshooting of construction and mining equipment
* Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical systems
* Ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
* Ability to read and interpret service manuals
* Technical reporting and field documentation skills
* Ability to conduct technical training for service engineers and technicians
* Use of diagnostic tools and repair procedures
* Field-based service and on-site problem resolution capability

Experience & Qualifications

Mandatory:

* Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience servicing:

 * Heavy equipment
 * Diesel engines
 * Hydraulic systems
 * Similar industrial machinery
* Practical experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
* Willingness to travel frequently within Africa

Preferred:

* Experience with construction or mining equipment (excavators, wheel loaders, etc.)
* Experience working with equipment dealers, service workshops, or rental companies
* Experience training technicians or customers
* Experience working with international brands or multinational customers
* Mandarin Chinese language ability (advantage but not mandatory)
