Technical Requirements

* Strong knowledge of supply chain management, including procurement, inbound logistics, and distribution planning.
* Proven ability to manage end-to-end logistics operations, including route optimization and cost efficiency.
* Experience negotiating supplier and transport contracts, including pricing and service terms.
* Ability to develop and manage biomass sourcing networks (e.g., cocoa producers, sawmills, agro-industrial partners).
* Competence in shipment documentation, coordination, and compliance processes.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to develop leads, support contract negotiations, and grow customer accounts.
* Understanding of agricultural value chains, industrial inputs, or climate-related products (e.g., soil improvement products).
* Ability to analyze supply availability, pricing trends, and market opportunities to inform strategy.
* Proficiency in basic financial oversight related to logistics cost control and margin management.
* Strong stakeholder management skills across suppliers, contractors, customers, and internal teams.

Experience and Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics, procurement, supply chain, agribusiness, or commercial sales roles.
* Demonstrated experience managing transport providers and third-party contractors.
* Proven track record in supplier sourcing and contract negotiation.
* Experience in B2B sales, customer development, or commercial partnerships.
* Experience working in agriculture, biomass, renewable energy, climate-tech, or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
* Experience operating in Ghana or West Africa is preferred.
* Willingness and ability to travel frequently and work in a field-based, hands-on environment.
