Technical Requirements
* To assist the CFO in ensuring the financial health of the organization to promote success and growth
* Model the company's vision of being a model of excellence and its values of Respect for Environment, Empathy, Quality Service, Integrity & Professionalism (RE-EQUIP) and hold others accountable if they are not doing same
* Support the preparation, monitoring, and evaluation of the annual corporate budget on an ongoing basis
* Ensure that all cheque disbursements/electronic funds transfers are supported by a properly approved payment voucher
* Ensure an adequate level of control over treasury activities
* Assist the CFO in preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
* Ensure the integrity of the general ledger and all financial data submitted to the CFO to inform accurate and reliable decision making

Experience and Qualifications
* A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from an accredited university
* Must be a professional accountant (ACCA, ICAG, ICAEW, CIMA, CPA)
* A master's degree in accounting or finance or any other relevant discipline is an added advantage
* Excellent working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office/365 Suite
* At least three to five years' experience in accounting and financial analysis at a managerial level
* Sound knowledge of IFRS
* Good knowledge of petroleum downstream business operations
* Must possess a strong sense of responsibility and commitment
* Experience with large, automated accounting systems is required
