Job Description

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Personal Assistant Duties:

  • Manage the lawyer’s calendar, appointments, and court schedules.
  • Coordinate meetings, client calls, and travel arrangements.
  • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and presentations.
  • Maintain and organize confidential files and records.
  • Screen and respond to emails and phone calls on behalf of the lawyer.
  • Assist with personal errands and tasks as needed to support the lawyer’s daily productivity.

Office Manager Duties:

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
  • Supervise and coordinate support staff, interns, or clerks if applicable.
  • Manage office budgets, petty cash, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure the office complies with legal and professional standards and maintains a tidy, organized environment.
  • Liaise with clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Office Manager, preferably in a legal environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
