Job Description

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives 

• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, product lines, and distribution channels 

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions 

• Create and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and business opportunities 

• Prepare detailed business proposals, presentations, and RFP responses, Relationship Management 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, corporate clients, and industry partners 

• Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the insurance ecosystem 

• Manage existing client relationships to ensure retention and identify upselling opportunities

 • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions 

• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

• Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets and business development KPIs • Negotiate contract terms, pricing structures, and service agreements 

• Develop customized insurance solutions to meet specific client needs • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitive positioning

 • Prepare regular(weekly, monthly, quarterly) reports on business development activities and results

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or related field

 • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the insurance industry, business development, or sales 

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets 

• Experience with commercial lines, personal lines, or specialty insurance products

•Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and industry-specific tools 

• Strong project management and organizational skills
